Food for special medical purposes (FSMP), which is used for nutrition supplements and support for the target population, has been widely recognized over the world. However, FSMP is still a new food category in China, and consumers and enterprises planning to enter the FSMP industry need to improve their awareness in this field.

Fortunately, according to the recent consulting situation from CIRS, we found that enterprises have asked more valuable questions related to FSMP, indicating that they are gradually comprehensive on this kind of products. In order to help consumers and enterprises to have a better understanding of FSM registration-related affairs and its clinical trial requirements, CIRS Group will hold a webinar in June 14.

Ms. Wing Yu graduated from Zhejiang University with Master Degree of Food Engineering. After joining CIRS, she focuses on the food regulatory compliance field and is responsible for the technical work of health food registration and filing, FSMP registration, infant formula registration, “three new food” (new food raw material, new food additive, and new food contact substance) registration in China. She has successfully obtained the approval of a number of new products application, and accumulated rich practical experience in long-term work.

Doris Huang , Food Business Division Food Regulatory Consultant

Ms. Doris Huang graduated from Wageningen University with a Master degree in food quality and management. She is familiar with the latest food, FSMP, infant formula related regulations and trends, and is an expert in providing overseas enterprises with regulatory compliance consultancy.

Hui Xu , Food Business Division Food Regulatory Consultant

Mr. Hui Xu has a deep understanding of food regulations both domestically and internationally, with over 6 years of experience in regulatory compliance. He has extensive experience in new food raw materials and new food additives registration in China, and is well versed in the management and registration of food ingredients in Europe and the United States. Being proficient in Japanese, he focuses on providing food-related compliance services for Japanese enterprises.
