Introduction

In recent years, domestic and overseas enterprises are enthusiastic about the registration of new food raw materials in China. In 2021 alone, 27 new food raw materials were accepted by the National Health Commission (NHC), more than two times the number accepted in 2020. To apply for a new food raw material, the applicant needs to complete the preparation of a series of materials such as the raw material development report, safety assessment report and production process material. In order to help enterprises understand the status of new food raw material application and management system in China, CIRS Group will hold a webinar in June 2022. Please refer to the following information for the specific time, content and way of attending.

Jessie Shen , Senior Food Regulatory Consultant

Ms. Jessie Shen has a master’s degree in Advanced Chemical Engineering from the University of Manchester. She is familiar with food and food contact material industry. She focuses on health food, foods for special medical purpose (FSMP), food ingredient and food contact materials regulatory compliance and has more than 8 years of experience in providing professional consultation for overseas enterprises. She has been assisting hundreds of overseas enterprises to ensure their compliance with Chinese regulations.

Hui Xu , Food Business Division Food Regulatory Consultant

Mr. Hui Xu has a deep understanding of food regulations both domestically and internationally, with over 6 years of experience in regulatory compliance. He has extensive experience in new food raw materials and new food additives registration in China, and is well versed in the management and registration of food ingredients in Europe and the United States. Being proficient in Japanese, he focuses on providing food-related compliance services for Japanese enterprises.

Wing Yu , Food Business Division Technical Manager

Ms. Wing Yu graduated from Zhejiang University with Master Degree of Food Engineering. After joining CIRS, she focuses on the food regulatory compliance field and is responsible for the technical work of health food registration and filing, FSMP registration, infant formula registration, “three new food” (new food raw material, new food additive, and new food contact substance) registration in China. She has successfully obtained the approval of a number of new products application, and accumulated rich practical experience in long-term work.
