Introduction
Great Britain’s withdrawal from the European Union in March 2019 caused an inevitable divergence in chemical products regulation between the two regions. After Brexit, the UK REACH and UK CLP were issued, replicating the European versions but with some changes in order to make it operable in a domestic context.
The EU and UK chemicals regulations now operate independently from each other, adding more variations with each update. It has therefore become crucial to understand how to navigate these differences, especially when dealing with import and/or export of products between the two regions.
On May 22, 2024, Telematic and CIRS will jointly host a webinar to introduce the regulatory divergence between Europe and Great Britain. The webinar is lasting about 90 minutes. There is also a Question & Answer session to allow you to raise any concerns you may have.
