CIRS prides itself on holding regular training events in order to provide our Clients, Partners, and members of the Regulatory Sector with the most up to date knowledge and changes to the ever-expanding field of international regulations.

Since the implementation of the Cosmetic Supervision & Administration Regulation (CSAR) in 2021 by the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) in China, the landscape of cosmetic regulations in China has undergone significant changes. As such, CIRS is proud to announce a series of training webinars available to our clients and our regulatory network. This series will focus on one of the most widely discussed topics in the cosmetic supply chain this year, Cosmetic Ingredient Management in China with special attention paid to the Safety Information Platform.

Julie Harrington , CIRS EU Senior Regulatory Consultant

Julie Harrington is a Senior Regulatory Consultant and currently coordinating the cosmetic service at CIRS Europe. She has a BSc. in Medicinal Chemistry from Trinity College Dublin and over 4 years’ industry experience in cosmetic & chemical regulations spanning the EU/UK markets to China, South Korea and beyond. Her client portfolio includes luxury brands, cosmetic start-ups, and cosmetic ingredient manufacturers providing her with a broad knowledge of the cosmetic regulatory landscape and ability to strategize in different contexts.

Jim Mo , CIRS USA Business Development

Mr. Jim Mo stations in Washington D.C office of CIRS Group and responsible for business operations of chemicals and food sector in North America. A Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from Texas Tech University, Jim channels his experience as a lead chemist into serving the industry with regulatory compliance consultancy.

Christopher Ketchum , CIRS USA Regulatory Consultant

Mr. Chris Ketchum works in CIRS Group US for more than 3 years and is responsible for regulatory consulting of cosmetics in China and US including the aspects of China cosmetics registration and filing, China new cosmetic ingredient registration and filing, China cosmetic ingredient NMPA code, US MoCRA, etc. He received his B.S. in Biology and Neuroscience from The Ohio State University.

Xiang Li , CIRS Europe Business Development Manager

Mr. Li Xiang is based in our European office in Dublin, Ireland. Li obtained his B.A. in Business and Law from the Technological University Dublin (Formerly DIT). Li has been living in Europe for over 10 years, and has many years’ experience in practical law and business law in Ireland, bringing a wealth of legal expertise and great public speaking skills to our Business Development team.

Introduction to the Series

The three-part series of training courses is organised and hosted by subsidiaries of the CIRS Group: CIRS Europe & CIRS US. As such, the series will look at the Regulations from the perspectives of both companies based in the EU & the US, two of the largest cosmetic markets in the world.
