    On July 31, 2026, the Department of Crop Production of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs (MARA) released the draft revised version of the Data Requirements for Pesticide Registration for public comment, with a deadline of August 21. This revision represents a major update that will exert a profound impact on pesticide registration and management in China over the next 5 to 10 years.

    To help pesticide companies and industry the Agrochemical Business Department of CIRS Group provides a comprehensive overview of the main regulatory changes and analyzes their implications, offering decision-making references for pesticide registration and R&D personnel. CIRS Group will hold an online webinar on August 28th focusing on the impact of the new pesticide data requirement in China on the industry, helping you comply with the complex regulatory challenges of pesticide registration in China.

    Ms Ping Ding is currently the general manager of CIRS agrochemical division, based in Beijing. Before joining CIRS, she had worked as China regulatory manager in Tide Group, senior regulatory manager in Syngenta China and lab technician in Chemtura. She has over 15 years’ hands-on experience with pesticide registration in China and has a good track record of registering various types of pesticides, including new active ingredients in China. Ping has a Master's degree in environmental studies from San Jose State University and plant pathology from Nanjing Agriculture University
